This book touched me in a way that few have.
I grew up during a time of race riots, and saw first hand the segregation that was in our country. I would suppose the South was the worst of it.
Here, a couple find salvation, and determination through the wife to fulfill the great commandment, to "Love one another".
And, also here, a black man, raised in the deep South, mistrusting, and with no "book learning", but with plenty of "street smarts".
This mismatched trio come together and fulfill God's plan in such a startling way!
You'll never be the same after you have read this book.
"Same Kind of Different As Me" will break your heart to do the will of God.
And that's a GOOD thing!
I give this book a 5 star rating!!!
